I just read through your site. Seems to me there may be a more to the story then what you state on your site. It would be great to hear Century's side of the story.

I have to agree with "rotor09", everything I read in your rant is way off-center with what I know of Century !!
to add, there are "many" questionable things in your rant that itch at me, but I will only respond to one,,
""They never considered nor offered anything for my troubles""
so you want something for your troubles ??? well HW did send you the Missing Parts and allowed you to return the FBL Head, how much do you feel they owe you, or should give you ???

Here's our side to this. We ended up sending him everything to finish his helicopter even though after a while, it became apparent he couldn't have been missing all the things he claimed. After speaking to him, we found out he was just getting into this hobby and this was his first build of a helicopter of this size. He told us he had failed at getting the helicopter flying so to make things simple, he tried a flybarless system thinking it would be easier to work with and operate due to less parts.
He read about flybarless thinking it would have less parts so it must be easier. He decides to buy a flybarless follower and head. He installs only the follower onto his stock head but without any research of his own or asking us how it works, he decides to use his common sense to install it whichever way he thought would work. He then proceeded to fly the helicopter as is. We have no idea what he did but what we do know is that he ended up installing it in a fashion that locked up his swashplate. After a change of any kind, the user is supposed to bench test to see if they had any issues with the install but instead of doing this he decided to plug everything in and spool it up. Upon spoolup, something locks up the revolution of the head causing the whole system to come to an abrupt stop destroying his helicopter and throwing parts all over the place. This is when he was injured by a broken blade.
He called and asked if he can return everything since he had troubles from the beginning and told us about his injury. After we told him there was no way we can take back a built and destroyed helicopter, he understood and simply wanted to return just the flybarless head as it wasn't used. He also wanted to return the washout unit he had purchased during the same transaction. He was pleading not to charge him a restocking fee because he knew he had surpassed our standard 7 day return policy. We told him okay, he wouldn't be charged a restocking fee but it would be refunded in full in the form of store credit. He agreed to this as he said he wanted to get another Swift 620 so that he can rebuild one and use the one he had as spare parts. A store credit of $192.37 is currently on his account at Helicopter World.

As there is always two sides to every story, it is always refreshing to get both. Unfortunately, many times the net does not make it easy for that to happen.
It never fails to amaze me, how naively ignorant of these bigger electric helis, someone can be. Some I have seen, feel that they are the same as the simple micro indoor RTF they may have. They do not seem to understand that these much bigger ones are so much more complex.
Fortunately, most I have seen, come out to our club field and find out exactly what they would be getting into, before jumping in with both feet. Obviously this fellow, IMHO, was lacking in common sense.
