Just a new thread to keep this venture thing alive and kicking. I hope everyone has something share about this heli. I want to know if anyone has experiance with this chopper and the jr 460t gyro? i have had problems with this gyro since the start. What is the best servo to use on it, and how do you set it properly for hover and stunt mode? Thanks to all who reply.

Default gyro

Just installed a pcm reciever today. it virtully eliminated all of my problems. I did not realise it but it was glitching with the fm reciever. i guess the 460 puts out eccessive radio noise. it was hovering beautifull today though.

Default 460t with fm reciever

I'm using the jr 8103 with an fm reciever without any problems yet and hopefully won't have any, my biggest problems were with the venture's tail rotor pitch lever and slide wearing out very quickly but i installed some ksj parts to eliminate that. Now my tail rock solid. The part numbers were ksj 1179 and ksj 396.

Default 8103

Hey Flip I just started programing the 8103 that came with my pcm reciever. This is alot of radio. I preprogrammed it with all the values from my 662 and it is pretty close except for the throttle. Is there a way to program all the dual rates to ine switch. I coudlnt figure it out. The guys at jr told me about the pcm thing, if you call them and tell them you bought a 460t they will sell you a pcm rx and crystal for 45$. Its actually horizon who i talked to. Do you know What RPM the head should be at lift off or hover. Appreciate all of the help.

Default pcm

Well not sure about the dual rates there are 2 dual rate switches on the radio, but right now i'm not using them, i've really just started into nose in and ff. For $45 i'll give horizon a call and see what they tell me about the pcm reciever thats a good deal. My head speed at hover should be around 1650, but since i've started using the Thunder Tiger raptor 30 blades i'm pulling about 1800 on my head speed now.
