Hi,

In my opinion and selection are the MAHIBERGOR 60 size line of heli's are very much suitable for 3-D,although 50's & 30's will be an exception.

Fly safe.

Just about anything with collective pitch with be capable of doing some sort of 3D.

Raptor 30 to Fury Extreme, or anything in between

Most all newer machines are capible of at least mild 3D, except the Nexus. i would recomend a 30 machine for a first heli, but if can fly allready then go for a 50, either the Raptor 50 V2 or the century line of heli's Falcon SE or Raven. If you want a wild 3D machine then go for the Raptor or I hear the Fury is real good but I don't have experience with it, and it's more $$$. If you want a real stable bird which will do good 3d then go for the Falcon/ Raven. I have flown the Raptor 30 , hawk SE 30 and the falcon SE, I see the differences as the raptor can be set to a wild 3D machine but it seems touchy or twitchy, the Falcon is more stable ,very easy to be gracefull, but it will also do good 3D. I am not a wild 3d guy so the Falcon fits me better, but you really can't go wrong with either. it's more like Ford vrs chevy, pick one you like the looks and designs of and go.

In the raptor line of helis... the V2 Raptor 50 would be a great choice for a 3D learner. I have 3 of them and have not seen any other 50 sized machine even come close to their 3D performance.

i've never seen a raptor 50 fly, but i've flown an x-cell 30 converted to 50 and it can do everything my fury extreme ys 91 can do. but it's a much more expensive choice than the raptor. great photo, by the way.

Thanks guys!

I should add, doing this kind of stuff does come with some expense,

I was dared to land inverted... so.... After a very long sustained inverted grass trimming and 3 serious scuffs the land was deemed successful

all the pics can be seen here as part of the www.hovercrew.com website - more pics here -

The new TT 600 blades are a bit soft when playing with rocks

Jeff,
well, I dare you to land tail first and then flip over to touch the nose and do a 1 minute chicken dance. Just kidding, but if you want to give it a try let me know. When do you plan on flying over in Canfield? I have not made it out yet this year but My buddy and I hope to get out this weekend.

Jon
