From: st charles, MO,
What's the best way to set up the GV-1 with the Eclipse 7? I'm trying to figure out what plugs to put into which channels. I'd like to use the 3 position switch (NOR/ST1/ST2) to set the RPM settings. Do I need to use the CH 5 (gear) switch to turn the govenor on and off?
The GV-1 manual is great if you're using a futaba radio but sort of confusing with other brands.
Any help is appreciated.

From a quick read of the manual, it would
seem like you need to use channel 7. It
is normally used for gyro gain apparently
but is the only channel that appears to be switched when throwing the N/1/2 switch.
My hunch is that you'd have to mess w/ the gyro gain screen to get values that would
allow the GV1 to switch. I'd start w/ a
gain of 0, 50, 100 and then check the GV
test screen to see if it is switching as you
move through the modes.
