It shows,at the sirius electronics web-site, that my 9CHP TX has no diode http://www.siriuselectronics.com/ser...iode_jumpering However, it clearly states on page 14 of the manual "*Note that your 9C transmitter system is protected from accidental reverse polarity , power surges & other electrical damage by a diode. The transmitter battery must be removed from the system to cycle." I'm confused!! If it does have a diode, can't I unplug the battery, and use a standard J plug to connect to the field charger?

It's in the last paragraph on pg. 14, under the Charging The Ni-Cad Batteries section. I'll probably go ahead and try it, I just didn't want to damage anything. I've been using my Hobbico MKII Quick Charger, on my T6XHs, however I did have the diode jumped. Thanks for the reply, Mike
