Default HELP hooking up micro gyro

Hello all,

Can someone please help me hook up a E-Flite G110 micro gyro to my E- Flite CX2. I did as the instructions said and no deal[] I pluged it into the rudder plug on the Rx as told I should but I'm left wondering what to do about the conector plug I unpluged from the rudder to plug in the gyro . the left stick dose nothing now , no throttle or rudder at all. the light on the Rx dose not turn green or even stay red , it just gose out however the light on the gyro comes on . Help PLEASE[] I paid $66 buck for this little pos and I'd really like to use it Thanks

You can't just plug a gyro into a cx2, the cx2 uses mixing of the motors in the gyro to hold the tail, the gyro you bought is intended to work with a servo to change the pitch of the tail blades in order to hold the tail.

You really should have checked into this before buying a gyro but I believe that there is a way to make it work but you have to take the 4 in 1 apart. I'd suggest asking the question in the eflite sub forum.

The newer CX2 is supposed to be gyro compatible because it has a 3-in-1 with a separate receiver. If you have the newer setup, your rudder control gets plugged into the gyro and your gyro gets plugged into the rudder input on your receiver. The gyro's gain plug gets plugged into the receiver's gear output. Just remember to zero-out your 3-in-1's gain setting... all the way to the left.

I hope you have better luck than I did. I put the G110 on mine and I'm not impressed. My transmitter's gain has to be set to super low to offset the twitching and the G110 won't fit under the stock canopy or an aftermarket boom setup. I'm hoping a scale canopy will work...

Bro, I've never heard of anyone putting a HH gyro on a coaxial heli! They really aren't needed.

Personally, I'd use that gyro in a CP heli when you get one.
