Default Next Step!!!

I am not sure if this is the right forum for this post but hear we go...
I have been flying fixed wing planes for some years and at the beginning of the year I got a Lama V4, which I outgrew very quick and then I moved to a Belt CP, I have been learning to fly by myself with the help of the FS One Sim, and I am getting comfortable with the belt and is starting to show its limitations as a small heli.
So I am looking for the Next Step, which Heli should I get, I am looking for something in the range of the Trex 600 or Glow 50 size, but I want the best no compromises, I am not saying that money is not an issue, but I have found that in this hobby when trying to save money you spend more on the long run and you definitely get what you pay.
Suggestions please JR, Align, TT Raptor, etc. Parts must be easily available and I am aware that for an electric there is initial higher cost due to batteries.

For electric in that size I'd say either the Trex 600E or TT E620. For glow there's a lot more choices but the TT Raptor 50 Titan, Trex 600N (or pro) and JR Vibe 50 are all great.

As for parts, are you close to a good hobby shop? What do they stock? Or do you have to order online?

The JR Vibe 50 looks good, but I think the Trex 600E will probably be the one, and I have to order most of my staff online.

The Vibe is the top of the food chain in the 50 class IMO. The 600's are nice as and the Raptor Titan is a blue collar good performer thats easy to work on and tougher than the others. The EVO and Knight 50s are both solid machines.

Owning or flying most of them, if I were forced to keep one it would be the Vibe.

The Hurricane 550 is a nice mid level electric that's about the same as a 30 nitro so it's smaller than the Trex 600 but larger than the Trex 500. It's available with either plastic body (which has flex problems) or carbon fiber. Harder to find parts for but I personally find it one of my favorite helis. I have both a stock plastic as well as a carbon fiber one.

It's not a 3D monster (although you can set it up that way) but it makes a nice scale flyer and something to practice with.

I have a Trex 500, Hirobo Lepton EX, Hurricane 550 and Trex 600N Pro (as a few of my helis) and like them all for different reasons. The two Trex's are the power machines.

I prefer scale flying and due to it's stability the Hurricane 550 is easier to fly. The Trex 500 is a great 3D machine as it was designed to be. So the one you prefer would be based on your flying style. If you're just learning to fly a ccpm heli then the 550 would be easier due to it's stability but if you get the carbon fiber version with metal head it would cost as much, if not more, than the 500.
