Default Transmitter Selection Advice

I have recently bought 2 RC air craft,a Axe CPV3,and an Exceed Piper J3,I dont like the transmitters that came with any of them, they seem not as good as they should,I was wonder if thier was a transmitter (6 channel) that I can use to fly both,NOT at the same time of course, something around the $200.00 range, something that will be compatible with the servos already installed in the crafts?
