Greetings all. I just purchased an unpainted T-Rex 600N canopy and wanted to know the best way to get the smoothe glossy paint look of the store bought canopies. I was hoping to airbrush the canopy because I have a cool logo that I want to put on it. I'm new to airbrushing but pretty good with cans so hard can airbrushing really be?

Here's the thing, I went to a famous airbrush artist who airbrushes motorcycles and the price for painting my canopy was about $2,000! Outrages IMO!!! I can create the stencil and learn how to airbrush the thing myself before I would pay 2 grand!

My questions:
-What paint should I look to buy? Enamel, acrylic, or lacquer?

- What airbrush gun? Single or dual action?
