here are some pics of a smoke system i set up on my jetcopter SX ...

this is the air tank that is presurized, to push the fluid out of the smoke fluid tank

this is the tank that holds the smoke fluid, its made from a used powermax can ...

this is a brass tube that is clamped onto the exhaust pipe at the rear of the turbine, it goes into the pipe through a small hole

here is a view inside the pipe, the end of the tube is flattened so it sprays the fluid in a fine mist ..

Wojtek,
The pictures don't show for me. I get the box with red X that IE uses to show it can't access the pictures.
It may be that the site where you have them doesn't like links from outside.
If your browser has them cached, then they'll look like they work to you.
Edit:
I went to the site that is hosting the pictures and looked at them, so now I have them cached. The are visible at this site now.

go to the "got jet fuel " section ...
hows your jetcopter flying Phil ? im droping my mechanics into a bell 230 next week, and am starting on a NH90 fuselage later this month ... I think the NH 90 is the ugliest heli ever, so I decided to build one

I found the pictures.
I am having so much fun that I don't want to take it down to build something scale.
I was thinking of doing the smoke thing too. After burning all that 30% I kinda miss not seeing where I've been. I've been contemplating where I could stick another fuel tank and not have it look too ugly. I see you took a less subtle approach.....

lol, whats the point of subtle if it already looks like a crop duster
Im so glad I finally got my jetcopter flying. Its only this week i got it up again after over 7 months since my belts went and it had crashed. After waiting for parts, blades, etc .... its time to have some fun !!
I have the speed up gear on my jetcopter now also, and it definately is more responsive ... I hope to do some more serious flying as soon as all this rain over here stops ...

yes, the belt problems have been solved. Jetcat uses new belts from a diferent manufacturer now. The old belts were delaminating due to the centifigual forces at 90K + rpm.
the HP5 also uses a new bearing block, the old set up was hard to set tension on while keeping everything square.
I have put my Jetcopter through some pretty rough manouvers, whiping at around, and having put a lot of stress on the sustem ... so far, no issues whatsoever on the new set up. I also have a 2nd HP5 waiting to go in a scale heli ... I have no more worries about Jetcat anymore ..
