Without seeing the videos you have seen.... hard to say for sure.
The models are capable of being flown n a manner which gives a very scale appearance, as long as mo objects are in the picture to show that it actually is a model. The tendency of th glow powered models to have a lot of smoke in the exhaust does detract from the scale effect.
I was watching someone fly a heli a few days ago, and he had the model performing in a manner which would have been appropriate for a Huey Cobra or an Apache doing recon. (he wasn't flying with a scale body on it though...)
