I have a quick question regarding the throttle setup on my raptor 50 with the os hyper 50. Keep in mind that i am a newb to this hobby.
I notice on the engine itself there are 5 marks, I am assuming they are from 0-100%, and each mark is 25%. I assume that when the throttle is moved between those marks, that gives you your full range (hope this makes sense). When I line the servo and linkage bar. I get the full movement, but however when I turn the receiver off the servo/linkage go way off center. Before Imade the adjustment, I had the throttle assembly using only the 4 marks but when the receiver was turned off it goes back to center perfectly.
It feels like I am missing something here, if you have a problem trying to figure what I am trying to say. Ican show a picture, to give a better idea.

My Feedback: (11)
Really the ones to concern yourself with are setting equal end points so you get full min and full max with something around 85 or 90 on the end points. Then at half stick with 50 on your throttle curve you should have half throttle (the middle of those 3 marks)

Ok thanks for the info. I got it setup, but i need to move the linkage from the bottom of the throttle to the top as it is opening it backwards. Unless there is a way to reverse it on the radio side of things.

Just got one more question.
When it is time to start her up. What is that best way to prime the engine to get fuel going to it? My fuel line to the engine is bone dry.

Hold your finger over the exhaust hole when turning over the motor to prime it, take your finger off as soon as you see the fuel get to the carb or you might flood it.

Ok then I guess I got it primed right, I used the starter to draw the fuel to the carb it it worked. Just need a working glow starter (battery is a dud). Always something haha, but it is winter so whats the rush right? Time to brush up on my skills on Real Flight 4.5, and once I get the glow starter working then I would be happy to turn to just start it and not even fly.
