Beginner? More information is needed. Probably would help to post your experience if any. I found messing around with the smaller stuff first helps you out. Learn to repair that stuff, it will help you with a build. I'm sure people will guide you on what you should begin with but be more specific in your request.

Start with a blade cx co-axial. Learn to fly that first because with this hobby you have to start slow. Then get a Great planes flight simulator and learn to fly that on your computor. After that come back and tell us how you did and we can move on from there

hooshman,
If your are determined to build your first heli. Then get all the information and knowledge you can. I suggest the following as a good starting point. First investigate what is required for either electric or nitor heli's.
Check out the following sites:
1.)[link]http://raptortechnique[/link]
2.)[link]http://littlerotors[/link]
Also check out "Helifreak" and take a look at some of the build video's by "Finless" Bob White in the Helifreak "Tech Room"
3.)[link]http://helifreak[/link]
There are plenty of heli build guides as well as some other instructional video's in the "Tech Room".
You most certainly should go to the "Beginners Corner" at "Helifreak" and take a look at "What You Will Need".
Welcome to the "Heli Club"
Once you get started and need help and or guidance you will find it at "Helifreak" , "RC Universe" and "Runryder"
4.)[link]http://runryder[/link]
By the way you will have to "Register" with "Helifreak" and "Runryder" in order to participate in the "Forum"
Good Luck on your endeavor and keep safety in mind at all times.
I hope this is of some small help.
Regards
