Default Stock Raptor Engine??

Hi,
I'm new to the forum and i am planning on purchasing the Raptor kit, i was wondering what your feelings are on the engine that comes with the kit, truthfully i didn't even pay that much attention to which one it was, i have flown fixed winged planes for awile and i am a firm believer in OS and was just wandering what you all thought

Default Stock Raptor Engine??

I just finished the Raptor 30 kit and put an OS32 in it. It is probably the best running 2 stroke that I own and would recommend one to anyone. I am a big 4 stroke fan, on my planes, so this says a lot about this engine.

The Thunder Tiger engine is kind of a hit or miss deal. Some people love them and others don't have any luck with them. It seems like they have some QC problems. I'm now running 7 OS engines from 32s to 50s and they are run great and are easy to get along with. I have better things to do rather than spend a day at the field fiddling with a balky engine.

Default Go with the OS!

I sure payed my dues on a TT, the engine was ok but the carb was junk. Like Scotty sead, adjusting every time you fly gets old real fast. Take the crap out of the craptor and put in an OS!!

Heli on,
Shannon

The OS 32 SX-H will fit just fine. You don't need the engine till the last thing if you want.

Default OS

It kinda looks unanimous the OS 32 is the way to go. I have one in my raptor and I love it. I let a friend fly my OS and he like it compaired to his TT engine.
