6 channel heli's buying advice
I'm looking to purchase my first 6 channel heli and I need some advice. I'm a pretty good pilot and this will be my 5th rc helicopter. My last one was a falcon 40 (4 channel fixed pitch) and it's 2 1/2 years old and is starting to "die." As of right now I think I'm going to get an esky belt cp v2, but I'm open to any suggestions. does anybody have any insight as to what I should buy?

Radio: Futaba, JR or Spektrum will be fine (all have the capacity of a 120 degree swash, CCPM feature).
Heli: Why get an Esky heli with your experience?? Get an Align or HDX heli..... 450 sized and you'll be happy about it.

RE: 6 channel heli's buying advice
xheli has a nice all metal exi450 , but to get started i just would order the hobby king 450 as its inexpencive and you could get everything you need from them less radio. my radio cost as much as 2 and a half HK450 were fully equiped with servos, esc, gyro and motor [:-]
this is what i did , i orderd 4 hk 450 and made one work with everything , now as a noob at this, i figured the cost of replacement parts were more than the kits. so it was a no brainer to get spare kits

RE: 6 channel heli's buying advice
thanks for the advice that looks like a good kit to go with, but all my previous heli's have been ready to fly so I need some help as to which electronics I should get, and which ones I need to fly it? at $28 on hobbycity.com the hk450 seems like a good avenue for me. Will this be a good heli for me to learn 3-d controls on?

RE: 6 channel heli's buying advice
Thanks this is a lot of help! and I'm not so sure I want to spend that much on a remote so does a 6 channel remote work as well for me or do I need a 7 channel?

RE: 6 channel heli's buying advice
I got the 7 because the futaba 6 with the amain coupon was the same price ....well close. I find the futaba easy to program and more to true 100% mixing and gyro gain . It's a investment , that's the way I see it and it makes programming a breeze .

okay so I think I'm going to get the spektrum DX6i from [link=http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/cPath/2_384_402/products_id/20466/n/Spektrum-DX6i-6-Channel-Full-Range-Radio-System-w-o-Servos]amainhobbies.com [/link] for $200. Does this look like it should be worth the money? I got the idea for from this guy from xheli's youtube channel in his vids. I was checkin out his vid on building a 450 size heli
