I've been trying to learn how to roll my heli. I've only practiced in the Realflight sim so far. But i wonder what kind of modifications i have to do to my heli to get the rolls to look good both to the right and left.

As it is now i can do pretty good rools to the right in the sim, but when i try to do them to the left everything goes so slow that it is impossible to keep it in a straigth line.

Does anyone have some information on what i have to do with my simulator model to get it to roll good both left and right?
Beacause i want to be good in the sim before i try it for real.

And what kind of things should i have to change on my real heli, a Raptor 30, to make the rolls nice both ways?

Don’t get to focused on just practicing on the sim. The real thing will be different especially if your heli is not setup perfectly. ALTITUDE is your friend. Most likely in your first "real life" roll you will be losing 50ft altitude.
Setup: the basics, just make sure that you have a "V" type throttle curve, mid stick 0 pitch and pos/neg max the same.
Just go for it, as long as you are high enough you won't hurt anything. Do NOT stop in the middle of the roll, no matter what happens...

I believe that all helis will roll a little faster in one direction than the other. I think it has something to do with the lift differential caused by the direction of head rotation. For example, the advancing blade (on the left side of the heli if rotation is clockwise) creates more lift because, when combined with the forward movement of the heli, it is going faster through the air than the retreating blade. Also, there may be some gyroscopic effects at work that will make it roll faster in one direction. Either way, I agree with flmgrip's post--make sure your setup is symmetrical and proper and just go for it. Don't worry about it too much.
