Does anyone know what kind of battery connector the Align Super Starter takes? Also, if you have this starter, what battery do you recommend? I'm going to buy it sometime this week, I want to know what battery to get so I can buy it right then and there.

Thanks, I kinda figured it would be deans, I just wanted to be sure. I know the battery specs, but I meant specifically, what battery is a good choice? I'm thinking about going with either MaxAmps or ProTek.

Yep, Align doesn't include a battery with it. From what I've learned so far, it requires a li-po 3S1P 1900-2300mah at least 16C with deans connectors, which I have been having trouble finding. Seriously, every battery I find meets all of those requirements except for the last one. I'm buying this starter on Tuesday, I hope I find a battery by then so I can get them at the same time.

Hmm, really? So then the T-style Ultra is just ProTek's version of the deans ultra. Thanks, now I don't have to worry about the battery not connecting. I just hope 2000mah is enough power.

Align looks great! I have two other starters but without a doubt this is the best looking one. I have both attachment. Ergonomically designed for Helis but difficult to use on planes. Starts easily a 50-60 size heli engine but hesitates/ fails on a 90 size (actually 1:5 success rate).
