Default Engine cutting out

I have an Irvine .36 engine that keeps cutting out when i remove the glow plug. The engine runs fine with the glow plug attached.
Is there a problem with my mixture (too lean or too rich).Heli is a Concept 30 sr-t

I would try a new plug first. Failing that it may be rich on the bottom.

cheers

I tried that, changed the glow plug. It ran for a couple of seconds then cut out.

Are you running it too lean with a high nitro mix and burning plugs?

Try a hotter plug
I recommend an Enya#3 or OS#8.
Both have become the standard plugs in heli engines.
If this does not cure it then you are either too rich or your throttle trim just doesn't open the carby far enough.
