I have a Sceadu 50 with an OS 46. Flies great. No, make that awesome!. If you have already progressed to basic aerobatics then you won't be disappointed in the Sceadu 50. It is fully capapble of 3D flight. Make sure you get the 3rd bearing upgrade that supports the bottom of the main shaft. It makes the whole rotor shaft more rigid. And while you're at it also add the DTDS for the tail rotor. The main gear that comes with the DTDS is machined derlin and much better than the stock gear that comes with the kit.

If you buy from a US source then those 2 items will be included. Outside the US I'm not so sure. If you plan on using the OS50 I recommend going with 600mm blades. The stock 570's that come with the kit are OK but too small for the power the 50 size motor puts out. If you want to hear more got to http://www.hirobotechnique.com, http://volkul.tripod.com/ or http://www.geocities.com/jbrundt/sceadu.html There's also a Sceadu forum on Yahoo! Groups.

Overall i think it's much better than the Raptor for it's size and class.

By far the Sceadu is the best in its class. I had a Raptor and it is not even close to the Sceadu. Quality and flying of the Sceadu is outstanding.
By the way my last name is Fisher.

Its a good machine, you can 3d the hell out of it,its very stable, and smooth,is built solid, comes w a driven tail kit.is super fast, does everything well w 600mm blades,is simple to build and stays together well.
My opinion is biased but I really love the machine as have others who have flown mine have too!It doesnt hurt $$$ wise if you stuff it and it rebuilds easily.

Default hey again

i have a raptor 30 and i want to know if it worth to get a 50 size sceadu or get imideatly to 60 size heli's and cry for the money you spend? (is the sceadu have such a diffrence in the power and preformans then the raptor?)
i can get the sceadu 50 and an o.s 50sx-h for 430$ and it's a great price.
430$ heli and engine
165$ 3 futaba 9202
200$ gy 401\9253 servo
--------------------------------
795$ -nice price!
that's why i am thinking of it. is the diffrence betwin the sceadu 50 and 60 size heli is so big? is it worth the extra money?
i belive i will get to 60 size heli after i will buy the sceadu because after then i can take all the equipment from him and just have to buy the machine and engine

by the way squirrel mayby we are related... i see we have atleast one thing in common we fly rc models!

thank you for your help
roy
