Fuel Problem Flooding

Hi Everyone I have a fuel flooding problem Here is the problem. I have recently got a Bell47g and the tanks on the side were cut open and 2 sullavian tanks placed inside of them the fuel flow from one tank to another works fine the problem is the tank that feeds the engine keeps flooding the engine I have to turn the needle valve all the way in shut the fuel flow off or it will flood the engine . Now I know since the tanks are higher that the engine it seems its acting like a siphone even with the engine off if you pull the fuel line the fuel just keeps coming out how can I solve this problem . :)

The quickest way to fix that problem is to put a fuel line shut off clamp on the fuel line.

Had similar with a poorly positioned header tank. Trouble is the fuel will pour in when you are trying to start. Can't think of a solution in your case though.

Get a pair of surgical hemostat's if you don't want that fuel line shut off hanging off your scale bird.

They look like needle nose but click closed. Got like 3 pairs of straight and curved at a flea market tool guy for 5 bucks. Clamp it on after you fuel and undo it right before you start.
