Manual

Hi,

I'm going to buy a Shuttle Plus (+ OS32) soon, so I would like to find a copy of the manual to printout and read. Does anyone know where I can get a copy online?

Thanks,
Confuzed.

Unfortunately the manual is not available on line. You can purchase it from Hirobo.

What do you need to know maybe I can help?

Thanks for your reply. I'm not after any specifc information, I just thought I'd read through the manual while I'm waiting to actually buy the heli (probably next weekend).

Nevermind, I'll just have to spend all my time on the sim instead! ;)

I strongly recommend to practice on the SIM first. You can get a freeware one called FMS. I thinks it is good enough. Buy a radio transmitter first so you get used to the controls. Then choose your heli.

Hirobo Shuttle Plus is a good beginners choice - my choice. However you should chose the one that has support in your country-area, ie. cheap parts.

I already have RealFlight G2 with the USB controller. Don't worry - I won't be taking out the real thing until I'm plenty comfortable on the sim! I can hold a pretty decent tail-in hover, but it gets a bit more shaky if side-on. Nose-in is a nightmare! It's going to take forever to feel comfortable nose-in!

My LHS has good spares support for both the Raptor and the Shuttle, and has packages based on both. Originally I was looking at the Raptor, but was persuaded by the price to go with the Shuttle.

The package is the Shuttle Plus, OS32-SXH engine, Sanwa RD6000 Sport radio (with 4 standard servos), CSM180 gyro + S09CL coreless servo for the tail, training undercarraige and all the other bits you need to get started (starter, battery, etc.). The shop will also check over the model when you've built it and help you do final setup and trim for first flight.

Sounds like a good deal! How much will that set you back?

About £650 - I have no idea what that is in your currency!?

My only concern is, I keep reading that Shuttle spares are more expensive than Raptor spares. I guess I'll have to avoid the ground to keep costs down! :D
