Have you ever seen this heli? Do you know what is this?
|
Do you know this?
Looks like a Kyosho Nexus with a different style canopy. Garbage IMO.
|
Do you know this?
It is not a Kyosho Nexus! And the canopy, yes I do it myself!
|
Do you know this?
Its nigh-impossible to tell with a custom canopy installed.
Post a 'naked' pic. :) |

My vote is for a Raptor.
Looking at the tail fins. |

Is it an H&J, once made in Taiwan? Obsolete now i believe? Although with the starter cone....is it just a mishmash of different helis?
|
Do you know this?
oops I didn't see the starter cone

Sorry, I didn't mean the canopy was garbage, looks good actually, I was referring to the nexus being worthy of the trash can.

2 helis, Both nexus
They are both nexus heli, one has nexus head the other has concept flapping head. The canopy's look very good.

Accturelly, this is Feiba. Maybe nobody here heard of this. this is made in China. The body of the heli not more than $100, include blades and canopy. It's almost exactly the same with Kyosho.

STD22, tell me what kind of helicopter you have or are flying.

Raptor 30, any reason for calling me out?
|
Do you know this?
You mentioned that it was garbage STD22, that's why I called you out.
The Nexus 30 is a fine trainer helicopter, thousands of people got started in RC heli's because of the Nexus (I personally sold over 20 of them on ebay, my customers never had a single complaint with that heli), no one ever said that it was "worthy of the trash can". |

why dont the chinese copy a TSK60 for $100 bucks then?

RC*AG*AIRCRAFT
That's great. I have never heard anyone say anything good about that heli and you have never heard anyone say anything bad about that heli. To each his own opinion right? |
Do you know this?
STD22, IC now we're getting to the crux of your opinion. Perhaps next time you could say that someone told you the Nexus is garbage or because it's not a 3-D heli, it's "garbage can bound". Only then will people understand that you know nothing of the Nexus helicopter (now I'm beginning to wonder if you still fly with trainer sticks on that rapper of yours).
I personally have over 500 hrs actual flight time on this heli,,, an outstanding, basic, cheap, disposable, platform helicopter,,,no one can ask for better in this price range. Oh yes, I've owned/ flown the raptor 30 and 60 as well. They are great flyers but are overkill for my low and slow flying preferences. I've had my say, we can let this issue die if you wish. 22, ball served in your court. |

While I agree that std22's remark was a bit out of context, as one who has more experience with the Nexus that I care to think about I will disagree strongly with the statement that "no one can ask for better in this price range."
Whether you're referring to the "old" price ($400+, which was larcenous) or the "new" price ($200 for the basic non-deluxe ship), there are alternatives for less money of better quality, design, and execution. Steve |
