I walked into the house the other day with a new kit under my arm. The better half looked at me and asked, "Not another airplane?" I said, "No, it just a box of wood." As she turned to walk away she replied, "Well as long as it's not another airplane."

When I lived in Perth my flying buddy and I were buying new planes regularly. We stored the planes at each others house..

When the wife said "not another plane" I could honestly reply "No its Jason's plane, I am minding it as he doesn't want his wife to know"

He did the same.. worked for years.

The only "kits" closer to a box of
wood were the Comet printed wood
ones.

Actually it was just a box of wood. That turned into 2 super Kaos's and one ugly stik. She says that I have too many airplanes. But, I've never heard of anyone having too many airplanes.

Another "Box of Wood" arrived this morning. I spent the day at the field and when I got home a box was sitting in my favorite chair. The better half heard me pull into the driveway and was waiting for me. "You got a delivery today!" she said. I quickly replied," oh yeah, the box of wood I ordered." Well, she stood right there until I opened the box. And sure enough, it was a "Box of wood". But it was the wood I needed to complete the Vertigo II that I am working on in the shop. They have the best wood and I only ordered it Monday night. I asked for some sheet balsa to skin a foam core and it had to wrap around the leading edge.

But anyway, when she saw that is was only wood planks, She left me alone so I could caress and fondle the beautiful wood.
