well live and learn the red dot on my motor was wrong unless it was suppose to be a pusher. when i tested my motor (already glued in) it was working great untill I flet the air blowing on me and I was looking at the front of the plane. I thought just change the wires around at the batt big misstake talk about nasty smell it burnt up about 50 bucks what fun!!!~

If its a gear drive motor... the red dot is always backards, the gear drive reverses the motor direction at the prop. (and the insturction book should have pointed that out... Master Airscrew's instructions are very clear about this.)

wow I dident know that I even called the store nothing was said about that. It is a gearded motor. thanks for the info I will still check the rotation before I glue the motor in. and if it is backwards swap the wires after the speed control.

Not all gearboxes reverse the motor direction. MPJets (also sold by Great Planes for their Speed 280s) have the teeth on the inside of the larger gear so the motor can run the right direction. Some gearboxes can be modified so the motor points the other direction.
