Lufthansa Pilot Exhange
This was related to me a few years ago by a friend in the aircraft industry.
Lufthansa flight was on approach to JFK. The pilot was going through his routine. At the time, international flights had to report any discrepancy in their passenger count. The exchange went something like:
Lufthansa: “[Usual stuff about the flight, and the plane] Oh, also, JFK, ve are three short on our head count.”
Someone keys a mic and says: “Lufthansa, have you checked your ovens?”
