Fly-flyer Build thread
ok, i started off with an ice block, i chose a lemonaide flavor but you can choose whichever one you want, im not sure if the flavor will effect the flight performance, anyways, when the iceblock was finished, it left me with the stick, you see it as a stick, i see it as a fuse, a wing and tail feathers muwahaha!
radio gear: for radio gear i decided to use a gwspico servo, a s3107 , and a hs422 , i only had 3 servos, so it looks like this is going to be R/E/T ship.
building:
first, we had to seperate the fuse from the wing, for this i used your regular stanley knife, to cut it up into 4 pieces for the plane compnants, as glue, i used recular wood glue for this i glopped a glop of it on the table and used a nail to paiste it on.

RE: Fly-flyer Build thread
installing the wing posed the first problem, i had to use epoxy instead of regular glue, the regular glue wouldnt have been strong enough, .
Power: for power i decided to go on the hunt for free range engines, my smeelly patented fly atractor iser made it a lot easier though, catching them was hard, its obvious they were run in well.

i tried this but when i glued the flies to the plane, they wouldn;t stick so i accelerated them and they burned and left a nasty yellow puddle of glue and fly

Used to have free plans. When I worked at radioshack a long while ago, me and the other kid that worked there made one of these. Should've seen the customers faces as it flew by when they walked in! Mine was actually made of a zig-zag rolling paper. The motor mount was a toothpick sticking out the front that I glued the fly too.
