There's a fellow down the road a few miles that has this contraption out in his yard. He just happens to be a piece of living history, having flown in WW2 Korea and even Vietnam. Everything from P 38s to P47s to P51s, F86s on up to F4 Phantoms. I didn't ask him for permission to use his name but he's a very much decorated ace. Anyways, he takes this thing to parades for the kids. He's a very likeable old guy and believe it or not, even in his eighties, he's going to Kansas City in two weeks to buy his very first Harley Talk about castiron cajones He told me if I wanted to I could take pics of this rig and have ya all guess what the heck it is.

Originally the trailer was a tractor-drawn manure spreader. I'll bet that with the engine running, that thing will really sling some s***, although I hope it has a pusher prop on it, otherwise it'll be slinging it the wrong way.
I know a guy sort of like him. The guy I know retired from the Marines as both a Korean and Vietnam veteran, flew Corsairs, Skyraiders, and transitioned to A-4's. After retiring, he put himself through medical school and worked another 25 years as an Ear, Nose, and Throat surgeon, and retired from that about 6 years ago.

Yea I knew what it was......just testin the city boys........hehe It has a small gas engine that runs the front wheels and it has a steering wheel connected to that little "tail" wheel. He used to drive it in parades. The dummy engine has a small electric motor in it that turns a vintage J3 prop. Kinda neat up close

To bad the maure spreader flings the crap forward the way he has it-should be pointing the other direction. Nothing like having it come back in your face.

Not that I saw. I just met the man and I'm getting to know him. Someday I'm going to invite him to my practice runway and let him have a shot on the buddy box. I'll let you all know later if he has any more stuff like this at his place.
