Default First experience with Nitro

Well, I'm 15 right now. About 2 years ago, my uncle decide to pull his Kyosho On-Road car out off reitrement. So he starts it and tests it. We go to the local parking lot and drive it abit. So we decide to step it up and go to full throttle from starting. First thing I said was "****!" cuase all it did was burn out and spin. It's AWD too! So, we start off slow. My uncle gets his Radar Gun out and it clock 70 mph before the person driving (Not me, my other uncle) hit a bumb in the road. The car suddenly lost all downforce and flew up and the left front wheel hit a pole. The car just spun around that point, landing sideways. It was so fast. the motor was still running, but stuck in WOT. So we have to go up and stop it. When we look at it. The upper suspension arm is still attached, but it's bent. The rest of it was toast. the driveshaft was torn apart, the lower arms was broken, and the shock was pulled of the stock plastic tower. So we had to go home and no more driving the rest of the summer.

So anyways, for the last year I've been looking at Off-Road 1/8 scale Nitro Truck... Okay just the Revo and the Savage. Now I can't decide wether I should save some money and get the savage or go all out and get the Revo 3.3. So anyone know any B/S/T forums or any other forums for Nitro Trucks than this one?

go for the savage. I've never had a problem with HPI stuff and the savage can take a serious amount of punishment
