Doing service work on CNC machines, I go to many different shops. I hate to say it, but this is not an isolated event. I've seen the fork marks in asphalt at a shop. The guy who did it said they are a reminder that "a lift won't jump too far from the loading dock......" :stupid:

my guess is the trailer was not chocked, and the bomb was being unloaded. when the forklifts back tires hit the dock, the drive wheels pushed the trailer out of the way, and the resulting picture took place. no dock clamp, no chocks, no worries...
