That is a real picture. It happened around Seattle about 5-6 years ago. Obviously, the pilot was flying very slow, on approach. Quite a testamony to the strength of the power line, not to mention the airframe. As I remember the pilot was unhurt, but it took a long time to get him down.

"The plane encountered turbulence from a jet that had just taken off and lost control on final approach. Ended up suspended with landing gear caught in power lines adjacent to Boeing Field in Seattle, Wa. The pilot was rescued and the plane was lowered to the ground without damage."

Yup it happened in Seattle and last year the same pilot was killed while flying a plane, should have stooped when he was ahead!!!!
