Well, look like that was a decent flyer until he crashed it... Was ok to remover the electronic before the crushing, but I would have left an old puffed lipo in the plane, just for special effect...

I have to admit, its a form of destruction I hadn't considered !
I once had a half wing leftover from a crash, I set up a video camera so it looked like I accidently shut my sliding van door on the wing..CRUSHING it ! hahahahah

What a waste. Give it to a kid who might not have the money for a plane...even if it gets hung from the ceiling of a bedroom it's worth it's weight in gold. Totally idiotic.

HI
yeah thats pretty sad. what a waiste. just so a few people can get a laugh. i woulda given to some one who'd enjoy, as mentioned , even if it hung from a ceiling.
here i am posting "wanted :wrecked , or project rc plane " on craigslist just so i can build something to fly cuz i dont have the Big $$ to drop on new stuff while people are running over perfectly good planes for a few laughs. makes me sick. i see guys rebuild Wrecked planes just to hang from the ceiling for show just so it dont go to complete waiste.
</p>
i sure woulda love to have had that plane , even if it hung from the ceiling till i had enough money to buy radio gear and motor and other supplies.still woulda beencool to look at it in once piece.

I have to agree, what a shame, that model could have been used by somebody that had the time to excitedly repair, but not the finances for a new model. shame shame shame.

Lighten up guys, we did not crush the flying model, we crushed a way beyond repair model held together with duct tape and shot from angles that did not show how bad it was. By the magic of video editing, we made you believe it was something good. Now you guys can sleep at night. If you look carefully you will see that they are not even the same type of model... One is a Sopwith Pup 1/4 scale, and the other is a 40sized Sopwith Camel. And last of all, it is our stuff and we can do anything we want with it.
OK then folks, you are really not going to like this heli vs. foamy death match.

I thought that first video was funny, but all the posts freaking out about it were even better. The way they reacted you'd think you ran over a box of kittens. Probably the same people that post "I'm so sorry for your loss" on threads where someone crashes a plane, like it was their mother, brother or dog that passed away, not a toy airplane.

Well, maybe we carried off the stunt better than we thought... The plane was damaged way beyond repair, so we came up with a last hurrah for the poor thing.
People really got upset about the helicopter crash into the plane too! We enjoyed all that criticism. It actually took us about 25 attempts to hit the heli with the plane... Thing about it is we always have a good laugh when we talk about the day we did that.
So maybe everyone should not take it so seriously and learn how to enjoy the destruction of flying machines. I know that I do. (unless they're mine)
