Has anyone operating a jet with signifigant downward thrust like the KingCat done so on a Petro Mat runway with any adverse effect to the Petro Mat? I am not referring to start and run-up. I am just wondering if it can damage the Petro Mat on taxi or TO.

Yes. This is what are club flys off of. The heat cools off too much before hitting the mat to cause any melting.
I had a main retract collapse on me once and that melted a hole in the mat. That has only happened once, so not such a big deal.
I'm about the only one who needs the mat as most fly off of the grass strip. good luck!!!
