My current R/C gear is a 10X with module (35Mhz / PCM synthesised), but I like the idea of the Weatronics module system instead of going DSM2 for my jet. OK, no problem, but what if I wanted to upgrade to a 12X with Weatronics module? Does the UK (Macgregor) 12X have a module or is it (as I suspect) only available as an integrated DSM2 system? I'm fairly sure the 12X is available 'modularised' in the US but in UK Macgregor get all funny about people using non CE approved equipment. I don't have a problem with this in principle, but if it restricts my choice of purchase........Apologies if it's a dumb question (i.e. all 12x's have modules) but I haven't been able to get a back-view of the 12X UK version. In the manual from a 'non-uk' site, there is a module shown in the back.

It might all be a moot point as I'm currently working in Brazil on bigger aircraft and might not get back to my crazy hobby for a couple of years, by which time I'm sure the equipment will all be different! If, however I'm back sooner than that, the question remains; can I buy and use a modularised 12X with a Weatronics module in UK?

And before someone says 'go for Futaba', I really am a JR kind of bloke but at the moment prefer the RF and telemetry / programming setup of Weatronics.

The PCM 12x is available which is modular on 35 mHz. the DSX-12 is 2.4 Intergrated DSM-2 (brilliant ;-) system)
