Likewise, I would not use anything else. I have been using Multiplex for more than 25 years now and I never had any kind of failure. My current Tx, the MC 4000 is 15 years old and still working fine, now converted to M-Link. I also have the REP16. For the manual go here: http://www.multiplex-rc.de/cms/vorsc...oyalpro_gb.pdf

I have been using a Profi 4000 for over a decade, if I could not use that any more I would get a Royal Pro 16. I would not use any other brand, the reason being the Multiplex software is so much better. More telemetry sensors for M-link are coming soon such as GPS and data logging.

Since long ago I've been interested in this radio, but, there's no
dealer in the USA, nor I don't know if it comes for use in this part of the world.

I would probably buy one for myself but my understanding is that they do not have FAA approval for use here in the U.S. Does anybody know if that is correct?

Likewise I would not use anything else ,it did take some time before the new 2,4 system came out but when it did it was working from the word go .I am using Multiplex for the last 28 years and never ever had any problems with it I converted my trusted 4000 on to M-Link this spring and had over 200 jet flights to date with the new system and would not change this for any money ,I also use ROYAL -PRO 16 and am very happy the Telemetry is a great step forward and with the data display box that is comming for the Profi 4000 so that we can take full advantage of the Telemetry .
All I can say go for it you will not be disapointed

all the best

I used to be a sponsored pilot by Karlton when he was MPX USA. I flew the Profi 4000 in many jets for many years. Loved it!!! Never had a single issue that was not of my making, and I always had way better range than anyone else on 72 MHz.

Alas Hitec does not bring in the new MPX 2.4 GHz stuff. On the bright side, it appears that the Hitec 2.4 stuff is performing quite well.

Multiplex was ALWAYS top notch when I was using it!

Yeah, but that is only for 72 MHz, I believe..... Too much $$$ in a jet to have some goof-ball shoot me down 'cause he forgot a frequency pin!

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I was referring to the new 16 channel system. I was told by Hobby Horse sometime ago that they would not be selling the new 16 channel system because Multiplex did want to get the FAA approval.

I think you mean FCC, not FAA, approval!
The USA distributor HitecUSA announced that it was uneconomic to get FCC approval for the Multiplex 2.4GHz system and therefore would not be importing it and suggested instead that Multiplex users fit Hitec's 2.4GHz system modules to their Multiplex Tx. Another option is to use the Weatronic 2.4GHz system.

Multiplex's 2.4GHz system is fully approved in Europe, don't know the situation in the OP's country Israel.

The people from DownOntheDeck seem to be using them...
Enjoy!
