I did it by using an old nose gear from a COMP-ARF BAE HAWK
these are produced by Air-Tech in germany and it was a shoe-in
with minimal trimming required to make it fit.. see pics This is one of those neat
units that has the steering servo mounted on it.. easy install here!!!!!

The gear works perfect... I have Behotec C-50's on the mains with Air-Tech struts... awsome combination!!!
SEE>>> http://youtu.be/k24UwdOpOHA

I had to make some CF mounting plates for the C-50's since the mounting areas in my Tuono
were machined for Air-Tech units with 6 mounting holes...

Hi Guys,

I was hoping one of you Tuono owners could do me a favor, i need the width of the model without the outer wing sections on and the depth of the fuse, might sound strange but i want to make a carboard profile model of the the fuse to see if i can get it up my stairs to my work shop/storage room.

Also are the fin and tail planes removable, as i have no chance getting it upstairs with the on.

Thanks in advance for any help

Carl

Width = 45"
depth (wo topdecks on) = 12=13"

Yes the tailplanes and fin are removeable

Had a good look at the Tuono at Jet power it has beautiful lines, you knew to look at it that it was Italian, only disappointments were how heavy it was, and needing a 160 size turbine. If they could do one that was more suited to 80-120 size it would suit a lot more people.

I agree a 80-100 size would be good although they do have a smaller 44/60 size version being released next month. Its called the Tuono Easy

I would buy it seeing as the big one is to big for me, as long as it looked the same as the 160 size one, not so keen on the new little one

They had a small one at JetPower but did'nt do the design justice with a painted canopy and without the flowing intakes, the big one in the McLaren colours looked good as did the black JPS one.

Maiden flight:

Flight #2:

This jet flys absolutely wonderful on a P-160SX. its fast, sharp and stable - a very good design indeed

Congrats on your maiden.

I was with my friend to take delivery of his new "Breitling" Tuono. They do fly great. Got a chance to take a few passes and I agree, this plane is solid.

I took delivery of my kit also and your video has me excited to get the plane finished. Just opened up the kit and started my build. So, the build has started.

Enjoy your new plane.
