FEJs 131in F104 - Wow!
Need a Longer Trailer?
Only $3250 sale price.
I'm still savin' my pennies for my Draken, but 131" is most tempting
They also make a tiny 109" version

What's the point ? Release April 2011, to be delivered in September 2011 ?
Oh BTW guys, I am thinking about starting to designing a 1/4 th scale F-84G. To be released on the 25th of May 2027. 10000 USD deposit required.

Consider me not a fan of this kind of business model. Taking orders for something you haven't really even started yet is criminal. I can put a website together, with a few pics of real airplanes and tell you I'm selling kits and take deposits without having anything to show for it. A lot of Dot Bomb companies were built and fell apart this way.
Maybe FEJ should actually FINISH one airplane before they start trying to sell 13 more.

Thank you James.
I guess that everyone has understood the concept by now: one can pay a deposit of 3250 USD for the plane, but it won't be delivered until released, sometime before the end of 2011.
Technically it is not a sale, since you pay for something that you don't get.

i think they should take product care on their other planes before they build lots of new planes.......[]
Most of their planes are always too heavy and have scary static failures.......

Peculiar main landing gear geometry on that Skymaster F-104 video. Almost like the retracts are mounted out in the wing rather than in the fuselage as on the real F-104?
Actually I wonder if they didn't use fixed gear......

Don't worry, the definitive F104 SM L/G will be for sure almost a piece of art,as every Landing gear coming from Likai and Anton!

Requiring deposits is a SKYMASTER business practice. I want a 104 really bad. I had a bad experience with my FEJ 15. Granted the 86 and 100 a friend of mine has "look" nice. Has anyone pulled hard on any of these FEJ birds?
I know I can tug on my YA 15 all day long with no worries. Unfortunately YA doesn't sell the 104. So I'm left with SM who has poor business practices or FEJ that I've had a bad experience with in the past.

Man, I've had nothing but good experiences with FEJ! I have owned and flown many, many flights...the 1/5.5 F-16, 1/4.5 BAe Hawk and Hawk100's, 1/7 F-18F and just ordered another F-16 1/5.5 because I miss my other one so bad and shouldn't have sold it and a few others (needed the money to get through tough financial time). Right now, I am flying the Hawk100 and really do love the plane.
I like dealing with them. I do know they pulled the A-4 project because of developmental issues and would not take deposits till they had it fully developed which shows good integrity on their part. I have noticed a difference in their gear quality since they moved it in house rather than sub'd out work.
I think it's worth giving them another try.

When I start seeing FEJ products at Jet Events and they are actually FLYINGAND LANDINGlike some of the other manufactures' that have been around awhile andthey can bereputable...........................maybe then we will look at FEJ products. There is NO SENSE in mentioning a product until it's PROVEN and they can assist their customers. FEJ needs to take notes from SkyMaster. Anton is finally learning that you DONT release a product until it's proven. BVM has always done that from the beginning.

I have flown, owned and love the BV and SM products. I just enjoy the larger airframes and FEJ seems to like making them! Dealing with James and Lowell have been a great joy.

I concure with Rex, dealing with James at FEJ cant be beat. He always answers his phone or gets back to you very FAST. Lowell Wexler loves the hobby and his service is second to none. Here are 2 guys who can get any question answered and or any problem solved.
I have had many FEJ Kits and as we have already discussed to death, FEJ is getting better in every respect. The one thing that has stayed consistant is that ALL the Jets I have built and flown have excellent flight charactoristics. Yes I have crashed, but not the fault of the kits themselves.
FEJ is worth a try. If you dont want to put up the up front deposit, OK no problem. Buy it when it is released and pay a bit more. Everyone has choices.
