We just tossed a old 55 gallon drum of mobil jet 2. But it was real old and I would not use it in anything. But it was almost full...............

How can an oil be off or bad ? even if it is not sealed it could be ran through a water seperator filter and it would be still useable, what a waste!

I'll be in Singapore next week on holidays, any good Jet Hobby shops to recommend?... Thanks

Remember that our engines operate on a total loss system in respect of oil so it is in effect only used once and then it is thrown out the back. So the concept of old oil is in effect a nonsense.

I have used oil that says it is 20 years out of date and so have many others and it has been fine. We need to be less wastful in the world and this applies to this hobby as well
