Default Aerofoil section for Jet

Hi,

Can anyone let me know the best aerofoil section profile for docile slow speed handling and a short landing run on a scratch built jet? It also has to handle higher speeds well, and if possible not be very thick.

Wing will be approx 1.8meter span

Thanks for your help

NACA 00010 or 12

This is what I used on the Jetmach series of turbine trainers.

Hi Bob,

thanks for that, I believe that the NACA 00010 / 00012 are both fully symmetrical sections, do they still handle well at slow landing speeds?

thanks again

regards

Joseph

Hi KKN,

I would suggest NACA 2410.

Thanks Craig

Has this been tried on a model jet?
