Don't forget to pick up Lucky Pierre! He looks so sad just waiting for you and Shaun.

Good. I was hoping to see one 'in person' and not just via You-Tube videos.

When will you arrive? I plan on being there Friday before noon. I need a quick hand parking so I can head to Cleveland Ohio ASAP.

Mike,

Friday afternoon...but not before noon.

Just park your rig in your normal spot. Lewis will be there.

Ok, newb question here (bracing for incoming): This is my first trip to a jet event. Does anyone have a pack-up checklist? If so, would you email me a copy?

Want to avoid getting to the Lebanon and going "Now where's my transmitter?", then "SON-OF-A!!!! It's on the charger at home!" [X(]

Thanks!

Jet Central Sponsors The Friday Night Pilot Dinner.

Thanks again to Jet Central for yet another sponsorship. The Friday dinner has become so popular, that without sponsorship, continuation as it is would have been very difficult. One call to Jet Central, and all is well! Please let them know we appreciate them.

http://www.jetcentralusa.com/

EachREGISTERED PILOTwill receive one free ticket for Keith "Jet Jockey" Yates Friday night dinner. Last year was fantastic, and Keith and Sheryl plan on yet another great dinner. The Friday special has gone from pizza, to what we have now. The dinner isAWESOME, so plan on attending. Additional tickets are 5.00, and can be purchased anytime. This is a great bargain, just ask anyone who was there last year. Everyone inline has to have a ticket, make sure to get them early. We must have a countASAP. Those not arrivingbeforeNOONFriday need to contact me, and I willsave a ticket for you.

Well, now that you mention it...don't forget your transmitter (and not the wrong one like I did once). Wing tubes are easy to miss also. If you manage to bring enough parts to put your jet together almost anything else you forget can be borrowed or bought. That's the nice thing about fly-in's...among a bunch of pilots there's at least one of almost anything. Plus, guys are always ready to share and help each other out.

When your shop looks pretty empty, close the door and head for Kentucky.

Oh yes, wing spar...did forget that once, but it's only a 25 minute round-trip to my local field, so no big deal....22 hour round-trip is a whole 'nuther thing!

But I'm also thinking extension cords, chargers, tires, tools...man. When I club raced motorcycles (which was what I sold to turn into rc jets) we had a checklist that covered all these easy-to-overlook things that once at the track you really, really wish you had with you. I may take some time during the next week and try to come up with one.
