Got mine on 15th Feb 4 test flights on 27th Feb. Yes quality is fantastic , I put the Behotec and CompARF trailing links in mine all works perfect cannot wait to fly again. I also put one of the new Powerbox cockpit with single 14 mz rec, the door sequencer makes light work of U/C doors and retracts. Flying mine on IQ Hammer180+ great combo.
Well done Comp ARF.

Well I am actually gonna go with an IQ-Hammer 180 like Hammer Mark has. Gonna give it a go as I have heard really good things in general...so we'll see. This thing is really stunning in person. It is the best Comp Arf I have received to date and there have been a few! The only thing I think I am gonna change is the color of the canopy frame...it just would look better red to me. Not that it is bad, just a preference. Overall it is impressive. If it fly's half as good as it looks.....

The IQ Hammer 180 looks like a great choice! Let us know how she flies.

Looks great Paul! We had a few at the jet meet last October as well as George's that was flying in the 2010 season and they look to fly really nice! I'm sure yours will too with the IQ 180.

I am looking forward to seeing it break ground in the near future! At Farview of course!

Paul,

I had mine painted red as I agree with you regarding the blue frame. Personally I am now very happy with the look of the jet. Yet to fly, but that's a weather issue.

Good luck,
Rob

So is that a matching Flash I see hangin inverted? Nice! And yea, you know what I'm talking bout! lol! What did you use to match it with? I have used the Comp Arf paints but find them a little finicky to work with, last time i used base coate/clear coate....worked great but $$$$.

Yes, that is a UF up there. Again unflown as the weather here isn't warm enough for me to venture out!

My mate had a painting job to do and it just so happened that the red was pretty identical. 2k finish, no laquer.

I'm very pleased with both airplanes. The scheme is great. I'm just awaiting some special graphics for them both.

Looking great Rob. You made the right call on the colour change there.

I like your strategy. Both UF and UF means you can bring them both to the field and let me have a go on one
