RE: Habu 32 with Tamjets P-20 turbine conversion
I am the guy who bought the Habu P20 from Tam! It fly's great and I will have it out at CA Jets. Very fast easy to land, I highly recommend Tam's set up and conversion kit. His landing gear and brakes are amazing too.

Jim,
Bob is getting me the P-20 in next few day. I might finish the second Habu for your brother.
Now the question is.
Which Habu I need to finish for you.
Joe or Russ......

Tam you hooked another Jet addict. It is worse than Heroin! Thanks to Jim and Russ for spending so much time with me and helping me into this area of the hobby.
I will pick the other one up from you on Saturday! Let's get out and fly soon.

BTW,
We solve the problem with the canopy blew off in flight by screw in 2mm x 4mm to the locking pin.
The pin already had thread. So you just need to get the screw to screw it in. This extense just enough to kept the canopy from blewing off.
See the videos my canopy blew off in flight.\

Thought you might like to see a set of your Habu gear in something different, to get the link bent backwards I just moved the spring retaining screw down one hole, works well.

Acutually the nose gear work great for bend back set up and it can fit up to 2.5" wheels.

The offset on the main legs is perfect for the L39, the nose leg will need shortening a bit, not sure how much until I get the main retract instaled.

I had the same kit in my hand right now. Be working on it pretty soon and making the complete gear package for it.
Lastnight was messing with the struts to get the right angle. It look for pretty good.
Your mod will had the problem with the spring stretch out too much.
I'll get some photos over the weeken and posted.

Look forward to see what you come up with for the L39, mine has taken a back seat whilst I worked on the Habu and waited for the servo mounts to put in the wing and tail, I now have those and have finished the Habu so will be concentrating on the L39 next week.

RE: Habu 32 with Tamjets P-20 turbine conversion
Back to the Habu P-20 and pipe installation....
It look simple. But I had enough calls and asking me how to install the turbine in the Habu.[:@]
I should charge them more for my turbine conversion to paid for the time on the phone....
Here is detail photos. It took me hours just get it photos steps by steps.
