I do not fly RC jets.......However I have a question that has been bugging me for a while now. In this politically correct world I should just keep this to myself however I mean no malice.
I have been in Model Aviation very actively for the last 40 plus years. I have attended a few RC jet events. I always notice that the majority of guys that are involved in RC jets are black. It is not that way with any other segment of this hobby.
Once again, I would be asking this same question if the majority had red hair! Or if the majority all walked with a limp! It is just with my (limited?) exposure to RC jet events, most of the pilots are black. Has anyone else noticed that?
By the way.....The jets are really cool, and so are all of the pilots! (no matter what color they are)

I certainly can relate to your comments. I flew fighters for just over thirty years and six thousand hours. I sure do miss it! Having an R/C jet powered by a turbine is the next best thing when your body is too old to pull all them G's!

Boy, I would pay anything to peel this guy's skin off in my
operating room to verify what he has beneath it.
Would it be green, violet , red or would it be like the
rest of us.
