Looking forward to seeing everyone this week. I will be a bit wrapped up with work until Tuesday afternoon.
I will be down at Rushford Wed afternoon-evening setting up and doing some flying. I will be back down early Thursday AM.

Great Thursday!
Light wind down the runway, folks here from MN, MO, WI.
Lots of flights for all. Lance's SR 71 was great especially with the chute.
The UB maiden went well too, had some coaching fro

Cookie Jane and I just want to thank Dave Dennison and his wife Ann for another superb jet meeting.......just the right size, most often just one plane in the sky, so lots of guys able to really burn a hole. The site, on top of the bluff, high over Rushford MN, is probably the prettiest geographic site for a jet meet in the midwest, maybe the U.S........
Expert pilot Dave D. put the maiden on his new UB/P-200SX and flew his F-22 and Mibo A-10 skillfully......
Anyone who hasn't seen Lance Campbell's SR-71 is missing one of the most fantastic scratch-built engineering masterpieces on the circuit......9 years in the build......it is huge! Perfect scale takeoffs and landings and absolutely looks like the real thing in the air.......I'll post some snaps tomorrow......unfortunately my handicam dumped, but maybe others have some video to post...
Thanks to BV for some very nice raffle prizes and any other vendors I might have missed.....
And finally, thanks to Mike Theune (sp?), Airport Manager, who takes care of all the details keeping the FAA and local full scale flyers happy.......in addition to giving free rides in his pristine Fairchild 24.

Thanks for another great event.
Sat the wind was almost right down the runway, perfect.
Lots of flying, and Lances SR-71 was incredible.

Thanks to Mike, all the pilots and helpers, my wife(Anne), daughter and parents for all of the help to get this event off the ground and for hauling dinner down to Rushford for Saturday night.
We flew a bit this morning until about noon, perfectly still.
Thanks also to the club members from Marion RC Flyers (clyde, ray, bernie, jake, jeff) for their time and support. These guys helped with duties including radio monitoring, crowd control and question/answer and shuttle transportation.
Thanks also to BVM for their generous donation for the Saturday raffle, everyone got at least one item, some got two!
We should have plenty of pics coming and also will post at www.mnjets.info (thanks Jake!)

Thanks to Dave for another great jet meet, very enjoyable in every way. Perfect weather, perfect runway and perfect hospitality. And for a bonus there was Lance's magnificent SR-71, just about the most amazing model plane I have ever seen anywhere. What an achievement to create a masterpiece like this from scratch. It was worth the trip just to see if fly.
I'm already looking forward to next year.

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner ( been on vacation & not near computer ). Paul & myself had a great time. What a thrill seeing Lance's SR - 71 Fly. That alone would be worth the trip. Then
