Im thinking on doing the same thing I was looking for some LED on ebay,
2w LED, I Thing is the best.

I'm running 5W luxeon emitters in my Flash
You can see them around the 50 second mark in this video, the video was shot on a bright sunny day and believe me the 5W emitters are impressive, the video does not do them justice!
