Guys,

Is it just me or is the search function as good as useless. I just did some tests. Copy and paste a thread title. Go to search and search for that string and (for me) it returns nothing.

...in the resolt page up on the top there is the "old search"

try use that....choose forum like rc jets and then choose "by post date" or "by rank" wich i prefer


i find it way better...i think RCU dont care anymore about all this promblems..

why do people post offtopic? with less offtopic there would be less junk for the searchengine to go though :-P

try clicking the old search button/text and it works great

Why do people post off topic? - it's called the real world and that's what people do - and it's why we need decent search engines. This one isn't and I have stopped using it

So Google's search engine is better than RCU's to search RCU?!?

Not replying to 'offtopic' posts also cuts down what the search engine has to trawl through

As a gross search IMHO google is better. As you have seen the new RCU search appears non functional. The old RcU search is somewhat better.

You can also Google search for pictures as well. I use this the most.

This can get you to something very fast but you get a lot of "off topic" pictures.
