2011 Liberty Bell Jet Rally
Cindy and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the jet pilots, business sponsors, and spectators that made the Liberty Bell Jet Rally the pilot friendly event that it is. We have got some great memories of the early days at Deck Airport and the good times at the Donegal Springs Airpark.
We’ve always felt that the pilots were extended family coming to town and hoped that you were able to experience the best of South Central Pennsylvania. It was cool for us to see our “family†experience the Amish folks and the Pennsylvania Dutch way of life for the first time. Many brought their families and went to HersheyPark to cool off....for those that remember the 2002 LBJR 102 degree jet rally! You stayed with us while we were making mistakes and learning, patiently guiding us to provide an event that was pilot oriented. Man, I have to tell you, you guys and gals are the best!
If it wasn’t for Harold Shank helping with the setup, teardown, and running the flightline each year, there never would have been an LBJR. Thanks isn’t enough Harold!
So many of you came to know Cindy and Lisa as they would work to take care of registrations, banquet reservations, steak night head count, etc. They both would look forward to seeing many of you each year as they made friendships from over the years.
We were looking forward to the 2011 Liberty Bell Jet Rally, our 10th year. However, priorities have changed in our personal lives that have led us to cancel the jet rally. Many of you have learned of the health challenge that Cindy is confronting and have offered many kind words and prayers....thank you from the depths of our hearts!
Best regards,
Mike

Mike & Cindy,
Jacqui and I are praying for your guys............ The two of you are truly a class act.
Continue to put things in "His Hands" as you have all this time.
I can honestly say, attending your event the last couple of years has been nothing short or Fantastic! It was in fact, more like a family gathering. I wish I could have made more of them.

It was just last year that my wife and I meet you guys at Liberty Bell after Larry Lewis told us what a class act the event is. And it was and you guys are too. Our prayers and hopes that all turns out well are with you and Cindy.
Take care.

Hello Mike, hello Cindy!
Greetings from a rather warm Omaha, NE.
I know from personal experience how tasking these events can be, not only on those of us crazy enough to do it year after year. But more importantly, to our significant others in our lives that grudgingly "put up" with all of our fuss with getting it right. A whole hearted thank-you to Cindy and yourself for doing it right for all over the years.
Our prayers, and thoughts my freind...
Karen and I hope to see you on our patio again soon, fireworks, surf and turf, and good memorys.
Take care,
Frank.
