RE: Roll Call for
It's on! Friday thru Sun May 20-22. Come in early if you wish and get some practice flights in! Plenty of camping space (no hookups)...hotels if you want more posh.
If it burns Kero...you should be at this event. 800X60 foot runway with no obstructions.
Pilot Registration on our website:

Hope to see you there!

I will be there Tony D, I have 12 jets to sell and 3 to fly, so I will be coming up with a 16 wheeler
Coming up with Clark "the wildman" Graves and Ken. I think JP Thibodeau is coming too and some other stragglers from Denver. Should have about 15-20 showing up just
See ya Friday mornin!

If it was not twelve million feet ASL there I would consider it but my last experience was....ahhhh....challenging....

RE: Roll Call for
Guys, Shaz is right, the predictions from NWS for the weekend don't look good. If we postpone the event, when would work better for you Early June or some time in August? All our friends from lower altitudes may not like the high temps and density altitude in August!
Let me know what would work best.
I am NOT postponing the event yet! If I do I will announce it here and on a new thread.

Dan,
I think June 3-5 would work great. Certainly dont want to put it on a "National Holiday 3 day weekend" like 4th of July, Memorial, Labor Days, Since most people are likely planning family time and will be unavailable. June 9-11 is Warbirds Over Denver and June 25-26 is Warbirds Over Pikes Peak and if the jet event is set on one of those weekends, most people would be conflicted as to which event to go to.
And certainly sandwiching it in between those events on June 18-19 would also make it 3 weekends in a row of event flying which I assume most people (myself included) would have trouble getting that many weekend days off in a row without the wife pulling a firearm on them.
Assuming July is out since that is not a month you mentioned, I think (just my opinion) that June 3-5 or sometime in August would be the best bets!
Just my 2 cents based on what I know most local guys are looking at!
Keep us posted, and I pray for no rain!

RE: Roll Call for
[][][]Guys, I am going to pull the plug on the jet rally for this weekend[][] The weather is just too iffy, and it looks like we could get rained out. The last time that we got rain, Jim Edie lost a jet and Larry Laughlin tried to wash his 10X.
Looking on the bright side, everyone has more time to get their pre-regstration in!
Sorry guys, June 3-5 won't work for me; with everything else going in June, I am looking at rescheduling to August 19, 20 & 21, but that is not sure (I need to look & see what else is going on that weekend.)
Since I postponed the rally, that probably ensures the weekend will be beautiful!
Sorry guys!
