Gentleman, The A-7 is going to Hatcher's Hangar to be built.
It is for a customer in OK. I will do a build thread for all of you. The plane should have gotten to my house today but will be here by the end of the week.
My delivery guy has been in GA visiting his son for a few days.
As soon as I get it here it here i will take a bunch of photos and weigh it. It is the new honeycomb build and when I picked up the tail half of the plane my guess it is less than 1lb total with stabs and rudder.
The owner is going to put a Jet Central Rhino in the plane.
More to come shortly.

Guy's, this was the first production A-7. The others were the factory test planes. Yes, If I had 5 there they would have been sold!
I got this theme from my friend Joe Grice. He knows I like things "different"! I sent the photo's to James and we have another winner. Bill is right, it is UNREAL light. For a 90" plane it should be around 30lbs dry. It will fly on a P-120sx, and my intentions were to put a P-160sx in it. It really wasn't for sale until the buyer handed me a check and said "fill it out and I'll sign it"!! What do you do in a situation like that??!! I just said... congratulations! Now Bill has a challenge to get it done so the owner can bring it to the Best in the West the end of September. Come on Bill...I know you can do it!!!![Wink](https://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Anyway, it really is a beauty and if anyone is interested, please contact me.
Thanks,
Lowell

I forgot about that, I remember James saying that at KY Jets. I will try on the best in the west, works is always a problem when it comes to travel, but I will try my best. I try to stay away from deserts after my tour in Iraq, I would hate to ge a flash back on the runway ![Smile](https://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Its amazing how these jets sound like rocket attacks from Iraq LOL

The honor is mine, my job is one of the few I get to save lives! Just by showing up the ground forces stopped getting shot at and if they had wounded it gave them a chance to get help, so the honor is mine. I just wish I could do more for the guy on the ground, we always went looking for the bad guy and hoped they would shoot at us instead. For some reason they dont like to shoot at 64s
i can't imagine why LOL occasionally you get one thats feeling froggy[:-]

Lowell, sent off the rhino to Eric to get updated today, talked to bill and he is going to try and have the a-7 ready by the end of august and shipped to me .so we should get some flights on it and then fly it at our jet rally here in Oklahoma on sept 24-25. Then I will head out to Cali for the best in the west

Yep...a big thumbs up for Bill and his building ability. He's probably the best that there is.
