Hey chris the best western is right at the entrance to where the field is. It is probably your best choice.

Sorry Dave, I am probably not going to make it. I burned all my vacation at JWM. you never know though, maybe....
Kero is available at the little garage in town in the uHaul place. That was the place we found last year. He has a 500 gal kero tank. Otherwise its back towards Redmonds house...

Chris and I will be there!!! Of course it is just down from the house so I guess we don't have any excuses. Chris thinks he can burn through 35 gallons in three days. Anyone else on for that challenge?

Yea, I have doen that before as well David, but for me that is just too much like work. My job is to keep the fuel jug full.
I still remember Superman 2001 when Jason Somes, Rob Janiger, Matt Caroll and myself burned over 85 gallons. That was when our planes had 2 liter fuel systems and there were 7 or 8 guys in the air all the time. The only time we stopped flying was during the experimental hour. Those were the days!

<span style="font-size: medium">Man am I ready, after the JWM,to be just a pilot at Illini Super Jets !
Was reminded to pay my annual dues as have not had time to visit the club all summer and it is only 60 miles from home right on the big slab.
Anyway see all there and get tuned up for Route 66 a couple weeks later.
