Sweet pics Frank!

Are you gonna maiden it at Gardner?... or your 'Area 51'?

BTW, it looks better and bigger in person.

Frank I saw a pic of this on another thread but the way the angle was it didn't look like a Hawk. I asked the dumb question "what is it"?

I did see the name on the side but I kept saying that's not a BAE Hawk.

Gorgeous plane! I wish you well with the maiden.

Hey guys,

Greetings from Nevada!
Bob, Mike, Gus, and of course "Dr Doom"
My area 51, it is a 1/4 sized hawk, and I love my shop. Its my man cave where I can decompress from the full scale stuff.
Hope to be in there by 1300 hours Saturday morning.
Frank.

Sorry to point this out but you have the rear fuselage strakes on the wrong way round. Just checked a photo of the full size on my wall. The wide bit should be at the front. Easily fixed. Otherwise model looks fantastic!

Hello Andy,

Thank you for the keen eye! I will check the reference upon my arrival home.
Your right, easily fixed, just pop them out and reinstall.
Thanks again,
Frank

Frank,

Nice model of a great aircraft. Love the finish!

Did you build that or did it come out of a box that way?

Hello Charles,

It is one of the newest offerings from Skymaster (Hawk 100) kit. It is 1.4.75 scale
The color choice was the Mclaren F-1 team from the 08-10 racing years I believe? Different yes, but certanly an eye catch!
Much is out of the box , however as with most kits, one must very carefully comb thru to get it all correctly airworthy.
Cheers,
Frank
